One of our goals is to present exhibits of or with aerogrammes. In some cases, this may only be highlights including the title page and key pages from exhibits. To this end, we would greatly appreciate the help of all exhibitors of aerogrammes.
Ideally, send us jpg images of all of your pages scanned at 150 or 300 dpi. Also include shows where the exhibit has been shown and any awards earned.
Or submit photocopies of your exhibits on A4 or 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Please indicate which of the 5-10 pages are the most important and should be included here in addition to the title page. If possible, exhibits will be scanned in their entirety.
Our sincere thanks goes to all those who have/will contribute to this effort.
For those interested in exhibiting, the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE) is an excellent society that publishes a most valuable and interesting quarterly journal, "The Philatelic Exhibitor". Another great resource is the interNational Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (NAPE) and their quarterly journal, "The Asia Pacific Exhibitor".
Much useful information can be found on the American Philatelic Society website. Available are numerous exhibiting guidelines and judging forms that will help all levels of exhibitors. The Awards Lists or Palmares for past exhibitions are normally maintained for only one year. The AAPE will be adding a database of past exhibit awards to their website.
Whenever you are viewing an exhibit frame on this website, clicking on a page will bring up a higher resolution image of that page. This will enable you to read the text and see the details of the items on the page.
